Why I built Vetted
I didn't build Vetted because I love technology. I built it because for two decades I've sat across from people — couples untangling patterns that started the day they met, and singles worn down by apps that reward the loudest photo and the fastest thumb.
Somewhere along the way, dating stopped being about knowing another person. It became about being chosen. Swiping trained a generation to perform instead of reveal, and then to wonder why nothing lasts.
Vetted is my answer to that. It's small on purpose. It moves slowly on purpose. Every member takes a short Relationship Readiness Assessment I designed using the same frameworks I use in my practice — not to rank people, but to invite honesty about how they show up. When you meet someone here, you already know they did that work.
We don't have swiping. We don't have DMs. Introductions are mutual and human-reviewed, because I believe the moment two people meet matters more than any algorithm can measure.
If you're tired of putting your best foot forward and want to try putting your true foot forward — welcome. Take the assessment. See what shows up. Then reply to any email you get from us. A real person reads every one. Usually me.
