How we protect your profile and data.

Members sign in with email and password, with email confirmation required before an account becomes active. Sessions are managed by our authentication provider and stored in your browser; you can sign out at any time from the app.

Profile data, assessment responses, introductions, suggested matches, and trusted contacts are stored in a Postgres database with row-level security enabled. Policies scope reads and writes to the owning user, with limited administrative access for members of the Vetted team who run matchmaking.

Full profile photos are gated: other members only see your gallery after an introduction has been approved on both sides.

Vetted runs on the Lovable Cloud platform. The platform provides the database, file storage, authentication, and serverless runtime that the app is built on. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Use of the platform does not by itself imply any specific certification of Vetted.

• Account: email and password hash.
• Profile: name, age, location, what you're looking for, interests, and up to 3 photos.
• Preferred contact: email and optional phone shared only after a mutual match.
• Assessment: your answers to the 13-question readiness assessment.
• Trust network: the email addresses of people you invite to vouch for you.
• Operational logs: email delivery status and basic onboarding events.

When you and another member both accept a suggested match, Vetted sends each of you an email with the other person's preferred contact method (email and/or phone) so you can take the conversation off-platform. Contact details are not shared before a mutual acceptance.

Transactional and reminder emails are sent through our email delivery provider. We honor unsubscribe links on non-essential email and maintain a suppression list. We do not sell your data to advertisers.

The app uses cookies and local browser storage that are necessary to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on the app.

You can request deletion of your account and profile at any time by contacting us at the address below. Operational records (for example, email send logs) may be retained for a short period for deliverability and abuse-prevention purposes.

If you believe you've found a security vulnerability in Vetted, please email us so we can investigate. Include steps to reproduce and avoid testing against other members' accounts.
